When trying to lose weight it is important to pick the type of diet that works best for you. However, there are so many different diets out there that it can be difficult to know which one is the diet that you should be using. To make things even more difficult, some diets have “sub-diets,” or different ways of going through very similar diet plans. The hcg diet protocol is one of these, and it has two main schools of thought.
There are similarities between the two HCG diet plans. They both require that you take dietary supplements known has HCG. This is a natural hormone found in the human body. [Proponents claim that] taking supplements that contain this hormone allows the body to burn off excess fat instead of targeting lean muscle during weight loss. For this reason, both Dr. Simeons and Kevin Trudeau recommend the use of HCG as part of their diets.
There are two main differences between the two diet protocols. The most substantial difference is the way that they recommend cleansing the body of toxins and abnormal fats. Dr. Simeons recommends doing this as part of the dieting process. Kevin Trudeau prefers to detox your body first, and then start on the diet. Also, Kevin Trudeau is much more scientific when it comes to the amount of HCG that should be used to supplement the diet. He recommends using specially measured hcg injections with a slowly increasing dosage as the body adjusts to having more of this hormone. This would help to maximize the weight loss without taking a “kill everything” approach to adding extra hormones into your body.
Should you elect to try an HCG diet, both plans aim to achieve the same outcome, but you may want to research both in depth before deciding which may be the better choice for you and your body’s needs.
